I wholly agree. Sometimes I feel like "getting old" is its own self-fulfilling prophecy. The same way people in middle school would try to prove to themselves that they were grown up by "ditching that kiddie shit". I think so many adults feel like they were the only ones not to grow up, so they do just this. In my opinion everyone needs to stop making lame a synonym for old.
